Using the ubiquitous XML-RPC APIs available in most blogging systems, why not use a project blog to make a note of tasks as well as integrating it into your continuous build process? Well, that's what is being discussed over at Pragmatic Automation. There's some code for Ant tasks too.
A blog could serve as a central repository for all the cruft about a project that doesn't warrant mention in the project documentation.
