Saw a great new band that'll probably remind you a bit of The Jam. The Futureheads literally rocked the house last night at The Troubador. They've got tons of charisma and talent and seem like a fun bunch of guys. If there's any artisitc-karmic justice in the world, these gifted mucsicians will hit it big. Keep an eye out for them.
One of the lead bands, The Colour was also quite good. Their stage presence left quite a bit to be desired. The amount of posturing and staring was a bit out of hand. And wearing a scarf with a t-shirt in Los Angeles is just plain goofy. Their album's good though.
